Hi, hello! How is your week going? We made it to Louisiana yesterday and everything went so well! Traveling with kids is exhausting but so worth it. My family will finally be meeting Lydia Grace while we are here. It’s so hard to believe she is almost a year old and they are just now meeting her for the first time. We will be here for a few days seeing old friends, checking out LSU with the little guy, seeing the Easter bunny, eating crawfish and spending time with family.
Before the long weekend hits, I wanted to share this fantastic button down dress! You may have seen it in Sunday finds recently. I packed it to wear for some fun Easter festivities we have going on. It was one of those dresses that I ordered right when I saw it! Even though I’m more of a neutral color gal, I think this color is perfect for the spring and summer! Wear it for Mother’s Day, to church or even as a work option. The color is so vibrant! I’m calling this basic dress your not so basic dress. The sleeves make it different than your typical button down dress as they have a little flare to them and are quarter-length. I really do feel so confident wearing this dress and I know you will too!
Fit tip: I am wearing the size small. It is roomy but the tie belt accentuates the waist. At 5’6″ the XS would have been too short on me.
Outfit: pink belted shirt dress | straw tote bag | two strap sandal
Have a wonderful long weekend!
