Hi, friends and happy Friday! We made it to Louisiana Wednesday! It was a great travel day with no delays thankfully (and no meltdowns). Yesterday we traveled a little south to Nottoway Plantation for breakfast, visited my dad at his office, threw rocks into the Mississippi river and the little guy saw where I went to elementary and high school! It was a busy but great day!
We only travel a few times a year, but overtime I have come across things that help keep me organized while traveling. These packing cubes and this organizer are two things that I use every time we travel. I wasn’t sold on the packing cubes until the started using them but they keep everyone’s items separately in the suitcase which I love! The organizer holds all of the phone chargers, portable phone charger etc. all in one spot so I know exactly where they are. There’s also a few items that I always bring along with me that are my everyday products in travel size! I am sharing all of those with you today! Nothing pretty about this collage, just a mama trying to make traveling easier with a toddler. I am a sucker for the Sephora travel section. Every time we travel, I head to the store and pick up a few things in travel size that make it easier than bringing the full size along!
Fresh has become one of my favorite go to skincare brands. I recently picked up this rose deep hydration moisturizer that I really like and I have used this soy face cleanser for months now. Both come in travel size and I picked up right before we left. I have started combining this advanced night repair with the moisturizer at night!
This trip is the first time I’m using this travel makeup case and so far so good! I was able to fit all of my makeup plus my travel size products that I brought along.
My go to steamer always comes along and it’s so easy to take out, steam my clothes really quickly and then I’m done! I use this one at home all the time too.
And lastly, kind of a random item but this insulated water bottle made it easy to keep the water for the little guy all day without getting other things in my purse wet. And this leap frog is something that he loves that keeps his interest. I love that you can switch out different books/activities for him to work on.
I am taking the little guy to see where I went to college today to try to get those Gators out of his head! 😉 Hope yall have a great weekend!
