Turtleneck sweater (on sale for $22!) | black denim (40% off!) | booties (30% off!) | handbag | belt (similar) | sunglasses
It’s a new week! Actually one that I wasn’t expecting because we have had a little setback with the little guy. Nothing major – we basically have to repotty train him. Last week he was so off from us being out of town that he had more accidents than what is acceptable at school. So he will be home with me all week and going over how to use the potty again. Say some prayers we have success! It might be quiet here this week, but I am hoping to have our Napa trip post up by the end of the week.
Today’s post is all about wearing neutrals in the fall/winter. As you can probably tell, I am all about white during the summer and then lots of black and tans come in for fall. There’s just something so chic and put together about this color combo. Finding outfits you feel confident in can totally change how you feel. This is one that I absolutely feel confident in. The sweater is not too oversized and being able to throw a belt on with it and booties gives me a little pep in my step. But don’t worry, I was totally getting looks wearing this as people were passing by because it was 85 degrees out. 😉
I love a good turtleneck sweater and this one is great because it doesn’t drown your neck like lots of turtleneck sweaters do. I love the color of this one and think it is so versatile to wear with black denim like I did here or regular denim. It’s a great staple sweater to have in your closet for years and it comes in a few other colors! I picked up this belt I think when I was in college and I can’t let it go. I linked a similar one above but the color is not the same. And lastly, if you don’t have a great pair of black denim for the cooler months do yourself and your closet a favor and add them to your wardrobe. You can get away with wearing black denim during the day in the fall/winter and also dress them up at night.
Have a great week!
