Cheers to Friday! A new Amazon post is here! They seem to come quickly each month but it’s so fun for me to find these items and share them with you! As we are starting to transition to a new season, I’m slowly incorporating lightweight sweaters, leggings and denim into my posts. In years past, I would jump right in with thick sweaters and warm coats but I’m going to be sharing those items closer to when the cooler weather is finally here so we have that to look forward to!
For sizing, I’m 5’6″ for height reference, a size 2-4 currently and mostly size small now. Every item is linked below but you can always refer back to my Amazon storefront here where you can find everything I have shared in previous Amazon posts. Let’s see what’s cooking this month!
Starting off with this hooded sweater, I can already tell this one will be worn a ton this season. It’s so soft, I love the color and the fact that it’s hooded without the pockets in the front. Can I get an amen?! It’s a dressier hoodie sweater and I just love that! I paired it with a new pair of high waisted jeggings that are very comfortable and flattering. After having a baby 4 months ago, things are still not back to how they were before and I’m not sure they will ever be. I’m embracing the larger size and sizing up in most items these days. The jeans are not an Amazon find but for under $20, I highly suggest these! They will be coming to another blog post soon! Outfit: pullover hooded sweater | high waisted jeggings | leopard mules (similar option)
I threw this lightweight puffer jacket on over the sweater to share how I wear it with jeans and flats. (Athleisure option styled at the bottom of this post) If you caught my Sunday finds last weekend, I shared that this jacket is back in stock from last year. It’s one of my most worn jackets and I cannot recommend it enough. I wore this in Highlands last October. It was perfect for the chilly weather and for our mild winter we have here in Florida. The booties are last year’s version so I linked the new ones from this year. Outfit: puffer jacket | pullover hooded sweater | high waisted jeggings | heeled ankle booties
A new jacket in my closet this year is this lightweight utility jacket. These jackets come back year after year and I think they are so cute paired with jeans and a flat or booties. The green color is a great staple to have in your closet that never goes out of style but I wanted to try something new this year so I went with the pink. Dare I say having a baby girl has me drawn to pink more?! These jackets are so easy to pair over tees and sweaters. Outfit: utility jacket | light weight hooded sweater | high waisted denim | ankle booties | bangle bracelets
When this lightweight sweater arrived, I threw it on with these straight leg denim and I did not want to take this outfit off. You know those outfits that can be the easiest things to wear but yet you feel so much like yourself and put together in them? Well, that is this outfit! I LOVE this color and think it’s so great for fall. The material of the sweater is so soft! The crewneck is so flattering and the fitted wrist makes it easy to push the sleeves up without falling down. I cannot recommend this lightweight sweater enough! Outfit: lightweight sweater | straight leg denim
These straight leg denim have been a best seller this week. I had my eye on them for a few weeks and so glad I finally purchased them with my last Target order. I paired this grey sweater with them as a casual outfit with booties. I’m still getting used to a wider leg with booties but think it makes for a cute outfit. This sweater is thicker than the one above but still super soft. Outfit: crewneck sweater | high rise straight leg jeans | western ankle booties | jelly bangle bracelets
If you are looking for a way to add warmth to an outfit or think it needs a little something to it, simply pair a vest with it. This is a navy puffer vest and think it goes great with this grey color. It’s a staple in your closet that can be worn year after year! Outfit: quilted vest | crewneck sweater | slim straight leg jeans | western ankle booties | jelly bangle bracelet
I was very excited to see this 2-piece set back in stock so I just had to share! I wore this last year for Christmas at home and it was perfect. This is a classic option for a holiday party with a statement earring. It comes in more colors this year! I did go up a size in this one last year because I was pregnant when I wore it. Outfit: 2 piece combo – cropped mockneck sweater and high waist pull-on pencil skirt | gold stretch bracelet
I shared this floral dress in last week’s Sunday finds and it is so pretty! I love the smocking detail, the ruffle neckline and midi length. This is great for a baptism, baby shower, date night and church on Sunday. Outfit: floral smocked dress | square toe heels
Sometimes there are items that really surprise me and this dress is one of them! I didn’t think I would love this dress but once I put it on, I felt so good in it. The silhouette is so flattering! It’s a great option if you are a teacher and easy to throw a denim jacket over it. I absolutely love the fit of this dress!Outfit: printed crewneck dress | strappy heels | bangle bracelets
I shared this dress in last month’s Amazon finds in the green clover print. Y’all loved it so much, I had to get the navy. We may think that navy is just a summer color but I say wear it into the fall months too and bring it back out in the spring. If navy didn’t exist, there would be no JCrew. I adore the oversized fit of this dress, ruffle sleeves and high neckline. Paired with a fun rattan earring to finish out summer!Outfit: ruffle tiered dress | gold bracelets | earrings
Where are my petite friends at? This dress is for you! I sized up one because I had a feeling it would be short on me and it is. The colors in this dress are so pretty for fall with the deep browns and pinks. The tie belt is removable and it has a button closure around the neck.Outfit: belted vintage floral dress | open toe heels | bangle bracelets
This is a super casual dress that I paired with heels to dress it up. At 5’6″ it is a touch longer on me than I expected but that makes it perfect if you are a teacher. I love the neckline and the tiers are very flattering.Outfit: short sleeve tiered dress | jelly bangle bracelets | square toe heels
I then paired it with a denim jacket and flats as a different option. As you can see, the dress does hit me right below my knee. This dress comes in more color options!Outfit: denim jacket | tiered t-shirt dress | jelly bracelets | neutral ballet flats
If you are looking for a fall wedding guest dress, this floral dress is a pretty option! The background is navy with red and white flowers. The sleeves are sheet but the full body of the dress is lined. You will stand out with this dress! Outfit: floral ruffle dress | jelly bracelets | open toe heels
Moving on to more casual options with leggings. This funnel neck top is long enough to cover the bum and so soft! I love the cowl neckline and how it looks paired with a leopard mules. Such an easy, everyday option! If you haven’t scored these leggings yet, I highly recommend them. I have them in 2 colors and wear them so much in the fall and winter. I always wash on delicate and hang to dry. Outfit: casual cowl neck sweater | leggings | leopard mules (similar option)
If I’m throwing leggings and tennis shoes on for the day, I’m most likely reaching for a lightweight zip-up jacket like this. This one is on the thinner side but super comfortable. You can always throw a vest on over it or the lightweight puffer for extra warmth like I did below. Outfit: full zip athleisure jacket | black leggings | neutral slip on sneakers
Outfit: light weight puffer jacket | full zip tech jacket | black leggings | tennis shoes
Lastly, if you have started your Christmas shopping, this tunic sweater and joggers (sold separately) would make a perfect gift for a teenager or mom in your life. I have the pink shorts that I shared a few months ago and wanted to get the joggers to pair with it for the cooler months.Outfit: crewneck tunic sweater | cotton joggers
Random things I’ve purchased lately
Shower shelf | When we first moved in our home I didn’t want to add those suction shower shelves because I knew they wouldn’t last. I recently came across these shower shelves and I have been so pleased with them. Easy to install and I haven’t had any issues with them moving or falling off the wall.
E-cloth window cleaning set | These have made cleaning windows and mirrors so easy! They get them squeaky clean without leaving streaks.
Eyelash serum | I started using this about 2 weeks ago at night! I am starting to notice a difference in the length of my lashes when I wear mascara. I love the look of fake lashes but not having to get them redone so often. I think if I keep using this my lashes will get really long!
Here are a few favorite items from last month!
