We celebrated our little guy’s 4th birthday at LegoLand back in June and I’m excited to share our trip with you! We figured this would be the last year we can get away with not having a friend birthday party so we planned out our trip and hit the road a day before his birthday. I love that we live so close to these attractions that allows us the opportunity to take the short drive there. We left early in the morning, made it to the park as it was opening and spent the whole day there. We decided to spend the night at The Beach Retreat which I highly recommend if you are taking a trip there. The individual bungalow’s were so fun and Dockery thought it was pretty cool to sleep in a bunkbed. Everything about our trip was outstanding and we can’t wait to go back!
Would you believe all of these are legos?! They made all of these different cities come to life and it was the neatest thing to see!
Dockery and Andrew had the best time riding all of the rides. It was super hot that day but we were lucky that the lines were not that long. Majority of the rides are geared towards younger children riding for the first time which is great!
We were pretty tired after a long, hot day but The Beach Retreat was a treat with the park right outside of our door. My husband and I were able to enjoy a nice glass of wine while the little guy played. We only stayed one night and headed home the next day. If you ask the little guy what his favorite part of the trip was, he always says The Beach Retreat!
