Cheers to a new week and a new month! How was your weekend? The little guy is still doing soccer on Saturday’s and then we had family over for Halloween and was able to trick or treat around our neighborhood. I can’t believe we only have 2 months left in 2020 and we are entering the holiday season. Stay tuned for gift guides starting later week as I’m sure most of you will be starting your shopping early this year.
Moving right along to Amazon finds for the month of October! How fun was October with Prime Day sales?! I hope you scored some really good deals. If you missed any of my posts or still have your eye on something, you can find my Prime Day Amazon Fashion Deals here and Home & Beauty deals here! Lots of home items are on sale again! The echo dot is on sale for $19, the echo show and blink camera system is also discounted (we ordered this for our home), the ring video doorbell is 30% off and my favorite steam mop is on sale! Also if you missed September’s Amazon Fashion Finds, I’m sharing it here again. Theres lots of sweaters and outerwear to get you through the cooler months!
This striped dress was one of my favorites! It’s so easy to pair with a denim jacket and flats for a casual outfit. Wear it in the summer time too with flip flops. This is a great dress if you are a teacher or for church on Sunday. Outfit details: striped dress | denim jacket | bracelet set
Another favorite dress for the month that’s great for the fall season. I love it layered with a vest to add something to it. It has a little thicker material so it’s warmer than the striped dress above. The collar makes it really flattering and the pocket details are really cute! Outfit details: popover shirt dress | quilted vest | bracelet set
The next few dresses are from last year but ones I still love and wear. This leopard dress is so flattering with the synched in waistline and great for the fall season with the long sleeves. The quality of this dress is so well made and it’s one of my favorite brands on Amazon. Outfit details: leopard print dress
A great little sweater dress to add to your closet. This would be cute for Thanksgiving with booties! The tie-front detail makes it flattering and not like one I have seen before. At 5’6″ I would say this is a tad short on me. I would size up for length if you are shorter. Outfit details: tie-front sweater dress
This might be the top dressy dress for me on Amazon that I can’t help but share every year! I have pulled this out for so many different occasions and even wore it to Christmas Eve mass last year. It’s beautiful, classic and so well made. It comes in more colors and is fully lined. A stunning dress to keep in your closet for years! Outfit details: lace dress
Another great everyday type dress to wear with a vest or by itself with sneakers. I love the funnel neck and that it’s not too tight around the neck. It comes in more colors and is really soft and stretchy! Outfit details: funnel neck dress | quilted vest | bracelet set
Let’s chat leggings! I have shared this black 7/8 length pair from Amazon quite a few times over the last year and love them! I ventured out to a new brand to try that has become really popular on Amazon lately and I must say they did not disappoint! I have honestly been living in leggings the last few weeks and I reach for these over and over. They are high waisted, super flattering and suck you in all at the same time! I highly recommend! Outfit details: fleece pullover | full length leggings
This leopard sweater was included in prime day! It comes in more prints if you missed out on it. I paired it with these amazing pull on jeggings! I love that they are dressier than a legging, look like denim but fit like leggings around the waist. Did that make any sense? They are super comfortable to pair with easy sweaters like this one or dress up with a blouse and blazer. Outfit details: leopard sweater | pull on jeggings
This jacket was also included in Amazon Prime Day! I love the long length of this cargo jacket! Easy to pair over the leopard sweater and jeggings from above. It comes in more colors too! I will say it’s a bit oversized so I would size down one if you can. Outfit details: leopard sweater | pull on jeggings | hooded cargo jacket
I’m not typically a cardigan girl but I love the classic look of this longer cardigan. It’s really comfy paired with a simple sweater underneath, high waisted denim and mules. Makes for a really cute outfit running errands or pair with leggings when staying home. Outfit details: fleece pullover | long cardigan | high waisted denim | leopard mules
This sweater might be in the top 3 favorite purchases from the month of October! I absolutely love this color! I tend to gravitate towards all tans/neutrals/blacks so switching it up to this brown color was definitely needed. I highly suggest venturing out of your normal color schemes. I shared it in white last year and will look forward to wearing it again when it’s cooler. It’s a very comfortable sweater, super soft and longer in the back! Outfit details: turtleneck sweater | pull on jeggings
Going from blacks to an all white outfit for fall! I love the idea of bringing blue and white stripes into the cooler months. No reason it should be just worn in summer! I love it paired with the white denim and then throwing a denim jacket over it. I will say this sweater runs small so I would size up one. Outfit details: striped sweater | white denim | denim jacket | flats | bracelet set
I packed this thick puffer jacket in my suitcase for NC last week and ended up not even needing it. This is a great quality puffer if you live somewhere that’s cold. It’s lined and really warm! Sadly, the red sold out really quick but it comes in more colors! Outfit details: puffer jacket | fleece pull over | full length leggings
Thankful to have packed this lightweight puffer because I wore it almost everyday! I will say this is probably my top favorite purchase for the month of October. I couldn’t wait to wear it on the trip and so happy with this pretty color! I paired with the full length leggings I mentioned above and a super easy turtleneck sweater for hiking. It comes in so many colors and has over 1600 reviews! I highly recommend this jacket if you need something a little more lightweight. Outfit details: lightweight puffer jacket | full length leggings | turtleneck sweater | similar sneakers
I think we are all looking for comfy, casual pieces to wear for the next few months and this jumpsuit is definitely that! I feel so put together and cute wearing this yet super comfortable! I had mentioned when I shared it that you can dress this down for staying home or throw on a fun statement earring and heels if you are attending a holiday party! Oh and you will be warm too! Outfit details: terry jumpsuit
I really do miss wearing dresses like this to work everyday. This print is really pretty and it’s flattering with the tie belt. It buttons all the way down and is great for work, church or if you are a teacher. Definitely a classic dress for your closet! Outfit details: printed button down shirt dress
Lastly, a classic midi turtleneck dress! Fingers crossed we get to sit outside on a patio for my birthday dinner later this week and this is what I plan to wear! This is such a great dress and easy to pair with heels or tall boots for the holidays. Keep is nice and simple with a pair of earrings. Outfit details: turtleneck midi dress
I also shared these high waisted fitted joggers in black and hunter green and love them! So easy to wear around the house or for comfy errands.
Not sure if it’s strange to share these things but we needed an updated thermometer so I ordered this non contact one. Works great and easy for all of us to use.
I ordered this silk pillowcase during prime day and really like it. Can’t really tell a difference yet if it’s helping my hair but I like the idea of that.
And totally random but another prime day find that I purchased for my husband is this bentgo salad bowl that he takes to work. He and I both get excited over silly things like this but he loves it! Super convenient if you pack salads for work or great for making ahead and keeping in your fridge to pull out during the week.
That’s all friends! What were some of your favorite purchases last month from Amazon?
I’ll be back later in the week. Enjoy your Monday!
