Maybe I’m getting a little ahead of myself since it’s only the beginning of November but I am excited to share these Amazon finds with you all in the form of holiday dresses/outfits! I love dressing for the holidays. My style is very sophisticated and I think that’s exactly how dressing for the holidays should be – classic, sophistication with a little bit of sparkle/shimmer if that’s your thing. There’s something here for everyone to make dressing for the holidays easy! A few of these items could even double as work options to holiday party! I kept the shoes the same throughout the try on to show how a classic, nude pump goes with everything. They are old but here is a similar option.
If you are shopping in the Amazon app, I always link every piece I am sharing in my Amazon storefront. I also share favorite home items, products and things I love for Dockery. Would love for you to follow along there as well!
Dark dresses are pretty hard to photograph. I tried my best to lighten them up to be able to see them better but a few are still dark. Be sure to check Instagram stories for a try on to see how each piece fits!
This sweet little tie waist dress is perfect for the holidays! The deep red with the crew neckline makes it so sophisticated. It has the illusion that it’s a wrap dress but it just ties on the side and has a zipper. The bell sleeve details are really cute and dresses it up! It comes in 3 other colors that would be pretty for a holiday party. Wearing the size 4/6. Tie waist wrap dress (size 4/6)
I will start off by saying this dress runs really SMALL! I should have sized up to a medium in this dress. This batwing cape dress is definitely for one of those fancy holiday parties or even a fall wedding! Dress this up even more with a statement earring and clutch. The one shoulder with the drape over is so classy and I love this color but it does come in black too! Wearing the size small. Batwing cape dress (size S; size up!)
I shared this lace dress earlier this year but I am bringing it back again because it’s a great option for the holidays. We attend church on Christmas Eve every year and it’s my favorite time to put on a nice, classic dress. I think this one is the winner for this year. I love the pretty navy but the red or green would also be a pretty option for the holidays. The fit is great too – not too tight and at 5’6″ it hits me right below my knee. If you are shorter or taller this would work for both! Wearing the size small. Lace crewneck dress (size S)
Another option I shared earlier this year that I am bringing back! If you want to switch it up from a classic dress, a jumpsuit is a great alternative! The ruffles dress this up and it has a zipper all the way up the back. It does come in a few other colors and I’m wearing the size small. If you prefer a more tapered leg, I came across this option too! You could easily throw a nice coat over both. Ruffle trim wide leg jumpsuit (size S)
An easy, yet classy dress that could take you from work to a holiday party. This green color is so pretty and the bell sleeves are really cute. This one comes in more colors too! Some of the patterns are more for summer but the red and black are great fall/holiday options. Wearing the size small. V-neck bell sleeve dress (size S)
Changing it up and throwing in a pretty skirt option! This ruffle skirt is also one that could be worn to work and then to a holiday party. You could also pair this with a black top. It comes in lots of other colors and think the red would be so pretty as well for the holidays. Wearing the size small. Ruffle pencil skirt (size S) | crewneck sweater (size S)
A classic black dress will get you through so many holiday parties! Don’t have anything to wear? Throw on a black dress, a statement earring and you are good to go. I love the twist front of this dress to add a really flattering detail to it. (It’s hard to see in the pictures so check Instagram stories) It also comes in a pretty red and navy that would also work for the holidays. Wearing the size 0. Center twist dress (size 0)
Throwing in some sparkle and shine for the holidays that would also work for New Year’s Eve! How are we talking about that already? Holy moly this year has flown by. We don’t usually have fancy plans for New Years but if we did, this is what I would wear! This pencil dress can be worn off the shoulder or as a crew neck for a more sophisticated look. The skirt is very form fitting but the top drapes over so it’s not a completely tight dress. It also comes in black, gray and red sparkle but if sparkle is not your thing, it does come in solid colors! Wearing the size small. Pencil dress (size S)
Midi skirts have been a new favorite of mine this year. Thought I would throw in a shimmery midi skirt! I paired it with the faux suede black top that I shared in Instagram stories last month! A really sophisticated combination that would be so fun for a holiday party or New Year’s Eve! Wearing a size small in the top and skirt. Shimmer midi skirt (size S) | faux suede top (size S)
And lastly, the outfit I shared on the blog Friday! I love this midi skirt and think it would be great for so many occasions this holiday season! I paired it with a cream top but you could wear black or gray with this color skirt. Wearing the size small skirt. Midi skirt (size S) | crewneck sweater (size S)
Here are earring options! I shared a few from JCrew and Amazon. JCrew is always a go to for dressier earring options and they are all 35% off today! Also sharing a simple, gold bracelet I picked up yesterday. I love wearing just an easy piece like that to add small details to outfits.
As always, thank you for being so supportive of these Amazon try ons! I shared my first Amazon try on last November here. Crazy some of those pieces I am still wearing a year later. These Amazon try ons have quickly become a favorite and it’s one post I always look forward to sharing here and I love finding amazing pieces!
Have a wonderful Sunday!
