May – Amazon Try On!

Well hello summer! It came really quickly y’all! The little guy finished his 2nd year here in Florida yesterday and I still can’t believe it!  What better way to kick off summer than with our favorite post for the month – May’s Amazon Try on! This one might be one of my favorite hauls yet! I found a few casual pieces for everyday wear, a few work options and options for attending a summer wedding. I’m really excited with what I found! Over the last few months of sharing Amazon clothes, I have started to notice a lot of items sell out super quick.  If you see something you like, don’t wait because it will most likely go out of stock or have a later ship date.  That even happened with a few pieces I am sharing here and a few are low in stock. Whomp whomp.  I always keep an eye on restocks and will share in stories or here on the blog when they come back in stock.

Starting with rompers, this supersoft terry romper is great for summer! I shared a similar one from Old Navy a few weeks ago and it’s been really popular.  That one has gone in and out of stock a few times so I came across this one, which is a more pale pink color.  It has the flattering tie waist and the fabric is really stretchy.  I’m wearing the size XS and it comes in a few other colors! Another cute romper for summer but this ruffle sleeve one is a little dressier.  I’m wearing the size 2 in this one and found it to run just right at TTS.  I am 5’6″ and it hits me just right in length.  I would say if you are taller and in between sizes, go up one as the waist is pretty fitted.  I will also mention that in the picture it looks like a true denim romper but it is more of a dark blue color and not true denim. Next, a really pretty floral blouse for summer.  I shared this as a work option which you could even pair with a skirt for work.  This would also be pretty with white denim and heels for date night.  I’m wearing the size small and while this color is low in stock, it does come in 2 other pretty floral colors. Moving right along to a casual outfit for summer.  I have had my eye on a similar button up blouse from JCrew Factory but never got around to purchasing it.  I spotted this one last week from one of my favorite brands on Amazon and scooped it up! I contemplated the blue for a bit but glad I went with the white as it’s a great classic top.  I’m wearing the size small here and will be sending it back for the XS. I love it paired with these linen shorts for summer! They come in a few different colors! How about tied up in a knot with a pretty floral maxi skirt?! I can’t get enough of maxi dresses and skirts right now.  Easy, breezy and lightweight for summer is pretty much all I want to wear.  I love the top paired with this skirt.  If you work in a casual office, you could tuck the top in and wear the outfit as a work option.  I’m wearing the size small in the skirt and it comes in a few other pretty floral colors!   Relaxed fit short sleeve shirt (size S) | floral skirt  (size S)

I shared this Target dress in stories over the weekend and it’s been one of the best sellers for the month so far.  I came across this ruffle floral maxi and thought you guys might like this one too! I’m wearing the size small and found the top to be a little snug.  I would size up one in this dress.

I can’t get enough of the smocked trend right now! I love the feminine detail with the ruffle shoulder on this dress. I really love the blue and white stripe option it comes in but I tend to share that quite a bit, so I switched it up with the white and grey stripes! Could this dress not be more classic and sophisticated?! I absolutely adore this dress! It’s super stretchy and I love that the pattern hits in all the right spots.  This is a great work option if you dress up for work or if you have a summer wedding to go to.  I’m wearing the size small and found it to run TTS with the stretchy fabric.  Sheath pencil dress (size S) | block heel 

The last dress finally arrived and I’m in love! This is a classic lace dress that is fully lined to pull out for evening weddings and holiday events later in the year.  It’s under $40 and comes in a few other colors.  I’m wearing the size small in the navy color.  I find it to be pretty roomy around the waist but you could always get it taken in. I ordered this dress and received a different item.  Was super bummed because I really think it would be a pretty dress for summer!

I have already placed an order for this one shoulder top and can’t wait to get it to share with you! I don’t think this one will last long when it does come back in stock.

I have worn this black one piece swimsuit quite a few times since I’ve gotten it in.  A really flattering one piece that will last for a few years!

I’ve also worn these earrings so many times recently! The white goes with everything! These are the resin earrings I was wearing throughout the try on.

These high waisted shorts have been a top seller since I shared them back in February! They now come in a few different prints! I wear the size small.

An easy casual dress that comes in a few other colors! I wear the size XS.

I posted this blue and white striped romper over the weekend! A little note about this one – I did have to get it altered under my arms and shorts.  I love that it has the jumpsuit option too!
