Morning friends! Still pregnant over here! Officially made 38 weeks yesterday! We have a scheduled date set and I’m pretty sure I will make it to that date. Thank you for sticking around when there hasn’t been much going on over here. I plan to share when the baby arrives plus a few blog posts related to baby/postpartum but I don’t want that to be my full focus. I am very much ready to share summer outfits again! Look forward to Memorial Day outfit options coming next week and Memorial Day sales! I will be taking advantage of the sales, treating myself to a few new summer wardrobe items.
As for today, it’s all about May’s Amazon Fashion Finds! The best post of the month, am I right?! Since this 9 month belly can only fit into a handful of things right now, I am sharing a collage of items that caught my eye and quite a few of my favorite pieces from last year that are in stock! Amazon brand items are some of my favorites to add to my closet and I am very much looking forward to their new spring/summer arrivals. As always, you can find everything linked in my Amazon Storefront here!
I’ve been rotating my wardrobe between 3-4 dresses lately. Was very happy to add this one to the rotation! It works great for a 9 month bump and will certainly fit postpartum. It’s the softest dress and very lightweight. I sized up to a small and it comes in lots of color options! I’m packing this one in my hospital bag, hoping to get myself out of pj’s for a bit while there.Outfit: green maxi dress | pendant necklace | gold stretch bracelet | gold bangles
Here are a few new arrivals that I have my eye on!
green floral maxi dress | short sleeve pocket dress | navy embroidered maxi | white ruffle dress
lilac mini dress | pink maxi kaftan | slide on sandals | stretch bangles | shorts
v-neck cap sleeve dress | fedora hat | sun visor | beach bag tote | puffed sleeve linen shirt
Throwing it back to last year! One of the most popular dresses here and it comes in lots of colors. This is actually the orange color online but it looks red. It’s breezy and perfect for hot summer days/nights. If you are expecting, this would easily fit a bump as it’s pretty roomy.Outfit: red tiered dress | similar straw tote | similar flip flops
When talking about the Amazon brands, I feel like you can’t go wrong with the quality and cuteness they all deliver! This easy, summer dress is another one of my favorites from last year and back in stock! The ruffle sleeves add little details to take a basic t-shirt dress up a notch. Love the yellow stripes that just reminds you of sunshine!Outfit: ruffle sleeve dress
If there’s one thing to add to your closet this summer from this post, it’s this ruffle top. I wore this a ton last summer with denim shorts, tucked into dressier shorts and with this adorable maxi skirt. The ruffles are so flattering and dresses up a basic white tee. I simply tied it with the maxi skirt and would throw on flip flops, add a straw bag and be on my way!Outfit: v-neck tank | floral maxi skirt | gold hinge bracelet
I keep saying “another favorite” but these really are some of my favorite pieces! This is the prettiest top! I’ve had it in my closet for a few years now. It’s feminine and classic. You can pull this out year after year to be worn with white shorts like I did below, white denim, dress up as a work option – there’s so many ways to wear this sweet top.Outfit: floral blouse | similar shorts | circle tote bag
A black dress is great to have for summer! I can’t tell you how many times I wore this dress last year. I did try this on when I was around 32-34 weeks and the seam line hit at a weird spot and just wasn’t flattering. If you are expecting, try sizing up one for that reason. Otherwise, a very flattering dress for so many different body types and one that will last in your closet for years!Outfit: gathered-waist dress
If you are a bride looking for a sweet, feminine dress this is a great option! I do love it in the pretty blue color as well! This would also work well as a baptism dress, newborn pictures or pull it out for more occasions year after year! Great news is that it is fully lined!
Outfit: white eyelet dress | hinged gold bracelet
I really can’t believe I am seeing this striped romper back in stock but I am! I purchased this in 2019 and still look forward to wearing it! It’s so soft, easy to lounge in or run errands in. I am wearing the size XS here. Outfit: striped romper
More random things I’ve purchased from Amazon recently.
After asking for csection feedback a few weeks ago in stories, quite a few recommended these c-panty for recovery. I ordered one and will be looking forward to trying it out. I’m hoping I can squeeze myself into after delivery.
We needed to update our guest bedroom pillows, so I purchased these to put in there. These have almost 20k reviews so I’m crossing my fingers our upcoming guests will love them.
We recently put down new floors throughout our home and it was recommended not use a steam mop that I had been using on our tile floors. I purchased this very lightweight spray mop to get the job done. Even the little guy uses it! You can include whichever cleaner you want or just use water. Very convenient!
Where have rug grippers been all of my life?! I threw our kitchen rugs away when we put the new floors down and purchased a new one that slides all over the place! I had a gripper on our previous rug and those things work. I purchased this pack of rug grippers to help keep the new rug in place. I used a square gripper similar to this one on the last rug.
That’s all folks! Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!
