Leopard sweater (only $20!) | military jacket (on sale for $36!) | white denim | flats
Leopard sweater | black denim | similar belt | booties
Hi, friends! How are you on this Tuesday?! We had the most beautiful weather here over the weekend! I think most of the country was finally experiencing some sort of fall weather! The mornings and evenings were pretty cool, but it warmed up during the day. I’ll take any kind of cool weather no matter what time of day it comes! Yesterday was super hot again so I am hoping for some cooler weather again soon!! It can only get better from here, right?!
Have you guys noticed how much leopard is out right now?! Like more than I have ever seen! I love it though! I have been a huge fan of leopard for years now! I like to incorporate it in little spurts here and there. I can remember the first pair of leopard shoes I had. I was working in a small, upscale boutique in Baton Rouge my senior year of collage and they had the cutest closed toe leopard wedges by Steve Madden that I just had to have. Thanks to Santa (my dad) and a generous employee discount, they made their way under the tree that year. I wore them nonstop for years!! Unfortunately, the leopard hair has worn out on them, but they are still in my closet because I can’t let them go. Isn’t it amazing the stories you remember with special items in your closet?
I am jumping right in on the leopard trend this year. I have already picked up this scarf, this sweater and the sweater shown here thats only $20! I came up with 2 different ways to get the most out of this sweater – one dressier look and one daytime, casual look. The first look with the white denim is one that I will reach for when it really cools off for good. Y’all know I just can’t get away from white denim! I love incorporating them into my fall wardrobe with sweaters. The military jacket is a super lightweight piece that I have had for a few years and still wear it! It’s such an easy piece to throw on with denim and booties or over casual dresses.
The next look is a similar one that I showed last week, just switching out the sweater with black denim. It’s such a classic look that you can wear over and over.
I decided to change up the scenery this week and opted for my front door! I decorated it over the weekend and really like how it turned out! I’m no Joanna Gaines though and you probably should never (ever) take interior decorating advice from me! 😉 Stay tuned for a full roundup of all leopard things later in the week!
*Note: I sized up to a small in the leopard sweater. I found it ran a tad small and short. I’m 5’6″ and really like how it fits on me.
