Happy Friday! We made it to another weekend! When do your kiddos start school? We have about 2 full weeks left and it’s just shocking how fast it went by. School is starting earlier this year so that means mama has to wake up even earlier. I might just be the one who takes longer to adjust than anyone else. We shall see! This week has been nonstop, getting back into our routine and catching up on everything that was pushed to the side while we were on vacation last week. My bestie and her family arrive tomorrow and I’m looking forward to spending the week with them!
Today, let’s chat new Amazon fashion finds for the month! There’s dresses of course! I know lots of people start sharing/wearing fall clothing in August but summer clothing is my favorite. I honestly don’t really look forward to retailers releasing fall pieces this early because we are still wearing hot weather clothing into October. If you followed along on IG stories for Amazon Prime day, you may recognize a few of the pieces below. I hope you were able to score something on sale! If not, here they are and they are good! These are some of my new favorite dresses that I even packed and wore to dinner on our trip.
Starting with this fantastic white, puff sleeve dress! I am wearing the size small here and it’s quite roomy. I actually thought the sleeves were a little more oversized than I was expecting. I absolutely adore easy dresses like this one that you can throw on during the day for errands, lunch and then dress it up with heels for date night. You could even throw a belt on it to accentuate the waist to give it more shape. It is a tad see through so I would suggest a nude slip underneath. It does have functional buttons all the way down.

Next, cutout dresses are everywhere! I have ordered 1 or 2 to try out and felt like they showed too much if you know what I mean. I ordered this one to try and really like it! From the front, you can’t even tell there’s a cutout until you turn to the side. This is the navy color and I’m wearing the size small. I paired it with my favorite summer necklace and heels! Wear this for date night or even a casual summer wedding.

I took a chance on this blue and white floral dress and I’m so glad I did! I packed it for our trip but thought it was a little too dressy for where we were. I will most likely wear this for our next date night or to church. It’s very classy, sophisticated and lightweight. It is fully lined. Wearing the size small.
Outfit: floral maxi dress | heels
I recently shared this striped maxi dress in Sunday finds. It arrived this week and I love it! I am wearing the size small and think the smocking is just a tad tight for me. It has thicker spaghetti straps and is lined about half way down. This is a fun dress to pack for vacation!

Do you know I looked at this dress over and over the last few months and finally bought it! I don’t know what took me so long but I absolutely love this little dress. I wore it to dinner on our trip and thought it was the perfect mix between dressy and casual. I didn’t feel overdressed or underdressed. The embroidery is done so well and it has the cutest little pompoms on the sleeves. The blue color is so pretty but it does come in more color options
Outfit: embroidered shift dress | braided strap sandals | gold bangle bracelets | watch
If you are looking for a teacher dress option, may I suggest this striped one! I sized up to a medium for more room around the waist and hips and love the way this one fits. The tie is adjustable and it doesn’t go all the way around. The length sits right above my knee for 5’6″ which makes it perfect for a school option. It comes in solid color options as well!
Outfit: striped blue & white dress | flip flops | gold bangle bracelets | watch
Sometimes dresses really surprise me and this one definitely did! I wore this to dinner one night on vacation and dressed it down with these sandals. For a dressier look, I paired it with these blue two-strap heels that are so comfortable! It is very lightweight but not lined and has the cutest ruffle sleeve.
Outfit: floral midi dress with ruffle cap sleeve | blue heels | gold bangle bracelets | watch
I have had my eye on this babydoll dress for a while but I didn’t want to pay for shipping! Who does on Prime?! When I finally saw it available, I scooped it up! The material is much softer than I was expecting but the underarms are bigger than I thought. The ruffles are adorable as well as the floral print. If you can size down, I would suggest that for this dress. I am wearing the size small.

This dress is another great teacher option that you can easily throw a denim jacket over. The buttons are not functional, they are just for show. I am wearing the size small here and found the top to be a tad snug for me. If you are bigger in the chest area, I would definitely size up. The material is very soft and comfortable and it has pocked!
Outfit: striped button down dress | flip flops
If you are looking for office type dresses, I would suggest this front tie dress! It’s classy and not overly tight. I paired it with the blue heels again to mix it up and add a little bit of color. I am wearing the size small. Keep on scrolling to see how I dressed it up for an office look.
Outfit: tie waist dress | blue heels | gold bangle bracelets
If your office is really dressy, you can pair a white blazer over the dress above like I did below. A white blazer is a must-have for summer time if you work in an office. You can pair it with skirts, dresses and pants and look put together instantly. I love the longer length of this one but I do find the sleeves are too long. I am wearing the size XS and would highly suggest sizing down.

This cute little denim top is so great for summer and then wearing it into the fall while it’s still warm out. My closet was lacking a denim shirt with short sleeves and I’m so glad I found this one. It’s not too tight and it’s a classic top to keep in your closet. Pair a sweater over it later on with denim and flats, wearing with shorts and skirts now. I’m wearing the size small.

Other random things I have purchased from Amazon this month
Jelly bangles | Little miss loves wearing these bangles and while I started with 5 originally, I am down to 3. She takes them from me, puts them on her wrist and will put them in random places. I ordered another set for myself because I wear these daily!
Satin pillowcase | Found these for a really good price that I couldn’t pass up! Not silk but I think these will be better than a cotton pillowcase. The zipper on my previous silk pillowcase broke so I needed to replace it.
No-bite-me | This bug repellent/anti-itch cream is amazing! I immediately applied this to a mosquito bite after hiking in Montana and it went away so quickly and barely itched! Keeping this handy for sure and it’s all natural so it’s safe for kids!
Hemlock hat | My husband was in need of a new hat for cutting the grass and he took this one with him to Montana for hiking! The quality of it is very sturdy so I know it’s going to last him a while.
Have the best weekend! Cheers!
