Hi, friends! Hope yall are having a nice week! It’s crazy summer is over and we are now in the fall season! Even though it’s still pretty warm, I’ve been stocking up on basics and a few unique pieces here and there. I’m really starting to look forward to dressing for fall with lots of sweaters, jackets, coat, booties, flats and denim! The whole thing! Speaking of unique and different pieces, I wanted to share this faux suede trench coat that came in a few weeks ago. The quality of this coat really surprised me for the $30 price tag. Of course when buying these types of pieces, being able to wear them multiple ways can really make you love a piece even more. Today, I’m styling this trench coat a casual way for weekend wear and a dressy way as a work option! I really love how both outfits turned out sticking with fall colors and neutral tones.
First up, I paired this faux suede trench coat with a simple pair of skinny jeans, crewneck sweater and flats. When adding unique pieces like the trench coat to your closet, it’s key to have classic pieces like the ones here to wear with them. A crewneck sweater makes this so sophisticated and adds a casual touch to a dressy coat. Mixing these fall neutral colors together – black, grey and tan make the outfit a classic one that you can reach for many times throughout the fall season. To dress up this outfit, you could pair this with black denim and a nude pair of heels. A classic fall outfit at it’s finest! I think we all want to be able to wear majority of our favorite pieces as a work/dressy option and a casual option. It was an easy combination to pair the trench coat with a dress. I picked up this floral dress last week and knew that the trench coat would go well with it. The colors together are so complimentary and pretty for fall. I love that you can wear so many different colors with this trench from grey, burnt orange, creams and black! There’s so many different color combinations! Fit tip: I’m 5’6″ and the trench hits me right below my knee. It does have a tie belt and runs TTS. It also comes in 2 other colors and a shorter version here!
