Are you sad summer is pretty much over or looking forward to fall? Even though fall doesn’t technically start until September 22nd, it seems like with school starting, the summer season is over. I love everything about summer – the pool, the sun, the afternoon thunderstorms, a crisp glass of rose, a summer salad, country music playing in the car on a warm day, it’s all so refreshing for me. I mentioned in my email Sunday that I’m not quite ready to start wearing fall clothing even though retailers are starting to release early fall items. I did a little browsing at a few different retailers that I hadn’t looked at in a while and found some really cute things to very slowly start the transition! The temps are still warm even into October here so I will start transitioning with lightweight sleeves, neutral colors and somewhat thicker materials.
Puff-sleeve embroidered swing dress | eyelet popover mini dress | henley t-shirt midi dress | tiered midi dress | striped linen-blend blouse | fleece full-zip vest | puff-sleeve sweater | peplum eyelet top
I scooped up this puff sleeve dress in cream the other day and love it! I’m going to share how I would wear it into the fall. This eyelet dress is so sweet for church, work and everything in between to keep in your closet for seasons to come. I adore this long sleeve floral dress! Wear for an end of summer wedding, date night or an upcoming baptism. This fleece vest is a must-have and it’s going quick! You can easily pair with shorts while it’s still hot and then leggings with a long sleeve top when it gets cold. I love this striped sweater and think it’s so great with white denim. Pair a cute eyelet top with shorts now and then denim into the coming months.
Cheers!
