Happy Friday!! Has this week flown by or is it just me!? I think it’s because my mom is still here and we’ve been super busy! We always shop so much when she is here! Yesterday, we went to the outlet in St. Augustine and I picked up almost a whole summer wardrobe for our little guy. I had forgotten there’s a Janie and Jack outlet and just about everything was on sale! We also stopped by JCrew Factory and I picked up this button down and this polo shirt for him! Sadly, she flies back to Louisiana tomorrow. It’s never easy when family leaves, but I will see them next month for a quick trip to Louisiana!
I mentioned in my post Wednesday that I am more of a cold weather person, but highs in the 40’s is too cold for me! We did have an almost snow day this week, but sadly it didn’t turn cold enough here! Maybe next year?! It has been so cold here, it has me dreaming of warmer, springlike weather where we can be outside more instead of inside majority of the day. But good news, the little guy starts back at school this morning! It has been 4 weeks of mommy and me time and as much as I love him, we all need a little break sometimes, right? I am excited to get back into our routine and I know he’s happy to be back with his friends!
Today’s look is all about this bell sleeve sweater from Loft! I picked it up in the store last week and it’s just perfect for the next few months of crazy weather and transitioning to Spring. It’s on sale for under $30 and comes in 5 colors! I knew when I picked it up, I knew I would pair it with white jeans. I love the pop of color with white instead of your basic navy or black.
Textured bell sleeve sweater | white denim | heels | clutch | necklace | earrings
While it’s still pretty cool out, throwing a neutral colored scarf (20% off with code ‘LANAHAN20’) on like I did here will keep you warm and add another touch to it! You could also pair a statement necklace with it to dress it up more for a date night. I paired it with probably my most worn necklace – the Stella & Dot Rebel Pendant. I wear it with everything year round, and also makes a great layering piece with a shorter necklace!
I also cannot stop using this clutch! It has sold out but this leopard pouch is another super cute one that’s not too oversized. Are you more of a clutch person or handbag gal? I am in search of a new shoulder bag to hold everything for myself and toddler. It’s nice now because I don’t have to haul a diaper bag around and can throw just his sippy cup, snacks (or ‘nacks’ as he says ;)), and a diaper in there and go. I’ll let you know what I find!
What is everyone up to this weekend? Not much going on here in this neck of the woods! Hoping it warms up some! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I will see you here next week!
