Turning another year older today. If someone would have told me a year ago today what the next year was going to look like, I would have probably laughed. There’s so much I haven’t shared here but a lot of it is so personal. Maybe I will one day, maybe I won’t. 35 wasn’t exactly the easiest year but I learned a lot about myself, asked for help, allowed help, had a 2nd baby, cried a ton on the hard days and am finally smiling and laughing again. In life, I think it’s safe to say expect the unexpected. I am sitting here another year older, wiser, healthy and thankful. I truly have come to realize how blessed I am and do not take that for granted. God has been so faithful to my little family, watching over us and providing for us every step of the way. I am always in awe of that. Cheers to 36 and what’s to come this next year!
Moving on to today’s post! I may have accidentally shared these tech gifts early in stories the other day. I need to remember to close out of my Instagram stories when editing in there. Whoopsies! I was so happy to know there was excitement behind this post and you were ready to see some of the best tech gifts. Sure I could have put a new apple watch (still on my wish list) but I wanted to be different this year and include things you don’t see everyday. Ok, I did include the airpods only because I absolutely love them! I feel like these are all gifts you would want to give and ones you would want to receive.
Kindle | These kindles have been around for a long while now. If you have a teenager, grandparent or sister-in-law that loves reading this is the perfect gift for them!
Amazon halo band | My husband has the whoop band and absolutely loves it. He’s not a techy kind of guy but he wears his whoop every single day and sleeps with it. He gets excited to see his stats daily. I wanted to share an affordable option and came across this halo band. It works with Alexa and it does require a membership to get more access to feature.
Wireless keyboard and mouse | This connects to up to 3 devices with bluetooth. Have someone in your family who loves their ipad but would love a keyboard to type on with it?! Gift this to them!
Airpods | I know what you are thinking. Another gift guide with airpods? (insert sarcastic woohoo) My husband gifted these to me last year and while I told him not to spend that much on ear buds, I absolutely love these things! They are one of my most used gifts he has ever bought me. I personally think they make a great gift!
Apple pencil | This is such a neat little thing! While it’s a bit pricey, it’s compatible with ipad for sketching, drawing, doodling. This would be a nice gift for a college student!
Bluetooth speaker | My husband is not a tech guy by any means but he really likes this! He uses this outside when playing in the yard with the little guy, grilling etc. It’s waterproof too so great to use in the summer time.
Reusable writing pad | This is going under the tree for the little guy. He loves drawing, writing and using his imagination and this is perfect for him! I also think this can be a “family” gift that everyone can write their schedule on for the day and/or week, jot down notes or to-do lists.
Digital picture frame | If you live away from family, gift one of these to your parents or grandparents. Instantly send pictures by email to be uploaded to their photos! So fun if you want them to see grandchildren growing!
Neck massager | I gifted this to my husband last year! This would be a fun white elephant gift as it’s very affordable and who doesn’t love a neck massage daily?!
Bluetooth shower head | My husband bought one of these for me in our last house and I loved it! I’m a music in the shower kind of gal and I miss this thing. Hey husband, if you are reading this I’ll take one of these under the tree this year!
Walkie talkie | These are so fun for little kids! We have a different set from a few years ago and the little guy still takes them out every now and then.
Flightscope | I had my husband’s input with this one as he’s in the golf business and keeps up with the latest and greatest for golf. If your husband loves playing golf and enjoys getting his ball stats, he will be so surprised with this gift!
Telescope | How fun is a telescope for a little kid?! There’s so much to see out there and I know my little guy is always asking questions about the sky, clouds and the planets. Santa just might leave this under the tree for him this year!
Open-ear wireless headphones | How nice are these that they don’t sit in your ear?! These would be great for someone who loves listening to music while running or exercising.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. We’ve got a rainy one ahead!
