Casual Travel Style with Walmart!

The cooler weather is upon us and I’m looking forward to wearing sweaters and jackets very soon! I had my heart set on taking these pictures next week while in the mountains but I have learned over the last few months of shopping at Walmart that good pieces go quick. And these are good yall! I didn’t want to hold off on sharing these with you! I’m partnering with Walmart again this month to bring you more fashion finds! If you missed last month’s post with Walmart, I shared an amazing faux suede skirt here.  This month, I decided to change it up a little bit and look for more casual, athletic type pieces that you can wear with denim or leggings – more of that everyday mom style and comfortable pieces to travel in!  Boy did these pieces come through! Since we are also traveling next week, I also came across this weekender bag that’s going to come along with us.  (See Instagram stories for a better explanation of the bag) I really am so excited to share these great pieces with you!

I’ll start with this weekender bag because I am really impressed overall with this bag.  Traveling with kids is not always easy but staying organized is key.  This bag has all of the compartments in it to hold everything needed while traveling – snacks, water bottles, a change of clothes for the little guy, my wallet, makeup, a few toiletries, phone chargers etc.  Even though we are driving, I can have everything in one place that I need for the 7 hour drive.  This would also make a great bag for flying with children being able to hold everything or even as a daily diaper bag.  It is also so chic in the black color too!

This might be my favorite Walmart find this month – this zip front anorak jacket! These types of jackets are so great to have in your closet.  It’s really lightweight, super flattering and a classic to wear for years.  I will be packing this one next week to take to North Carolina with us! It zips and buttons and has pockets! I chose the stone color but it also comes in black, red and a blush color.  I paired it with jeans and mules for a casual day look but you could also pair this jacket with leggings and sneakers.  For under $30, you can’t beat a jacket like this! This cowl neck sweatshirt will definitely be on repeat this fall and winter!  It is tunic length and fleece lined so it is super soft and cozy.  I love that you can also pair this with leggings and sneakers for an easy, casual outfit.  The cowl neck is so flattering as well as the seam line right in the middle of the sweatshirt.  I’m wearing a size small in the sweatshirt and could have sized down to the XS.  This cream color really is so pretty and versatile but it also comes in 3 other colors!
