Hi friends! This week is already flying by, like is always does! Yesterday, I treated myself to lunch with a dear friend. It’s something I very rarely do. Time, these days is very funny to me. It seems like there’s never enough of it to do it all. I struggle with it daily and find myself needing to put things off to another day or saying when there’s more time I’ll do it. I pushed my to do list aside yesterday and enjoyed some much needed girl time that was so fulfilling.
Having children is such a wonderful thing, right?! They definitely take up 90% of my time but they are only little once! And guess what?! Someone’s got to dress them! I truly love dressing my almost 7 year old and 10 month old! I thought I would share what’s in their closets for spring and summer already and a few items I have my eye on for them. I adore JCrew Factory for the little guy. It makes up majority of his closet and think it’s fantastic for shorts, button downs, polo shirts and tees. Target and Amazon have become my go to for everyday dresses and cute bubbles for LG. These collages do focus mainly on their specific ages as that’s what I am currently buying.
Starting with the little boy’s options! I always try to keep shorts and shirts in the same color family to mix and match pieces. He has really started dressing himself these days and I ask him if he will wear something before I purchase it. He’s very opinionated about what he wears! A dress shirt and 2 different color polos all go with the blue shorts. Khaki shorts are a staple, but I like to add a little color and change it up. A comfy pair of shorts and cute t-shirts for running around, playing outside. Can’t forget about a swimsuit and rash guard for the pool!

blue ball cap | blue chino shorts | embroidered flip flops
long sleeve rash guard | striped swim trunks | patterned belt | white graphic tee | navy shorts
While the boys are pretty basic with shorts and shirts, girls are easy if you know what you like! Dresses are filling LG’s closet for spring and summer and I just love it! Of course I love a beautiful monogrammed dress but I save that for special occasions and stick to easy, sundresses for everyday. She still looks just as adorable and adding in all of these dresses fits into our budget. Some of these are a bit dressier than others that are perfect for church on Sunday’s.

I hope you find this post helpful when dressing your little ones. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
