How is your week going? It flew by here! It’s been a week of new things and I am happy to report everything has gone smoothly! We are in different routines and I am learning that it is ok to accept any and all help when it comes to kids. Raising kids, getting them here and there is exhausting but it’s ok for you to let someone else step in and love on your children just like you do. We’ve got a weekend of basketball and pretty weather! I hope you enjoy yours too!
I asked in stories the other day what you wanted to see on the blog here. The responses were so good, I wrote them all down and will slowly get to them over the next few weeks. One requested post was to see Amazon finds that are not clothing. Done! Below are my top Amazon finds and some of my most used items daily, well except for the luggage set but I do love it!
Eyebrow pencil | The best one I have tried. I keep this on reorder! The only con is that I go through it so quickly.
Spray mop | I purchased this when we changed our floors early last year and it’s great. It’s quick for easy cleanup and you can remove the pads to wash them. I also like how you can add whatever cleaner you want to the water filler.
Expandable drawer organizer | An early purchase from last year and it’s held up great! It looks classy when opening the drawer and it holds so much! Very sturdy and easy to clean as well.
Humidifier | (I realized after I made this collage this exact humidifier is not available. There’s so many out there! Since I haven’t tried another one to recommend, I’m not going to link a different one.) This thing has been used a ton lately! It holds a ton of water so it will run all night. It’s easy to empty, clean and refill for the next day/night.
Household gloves | These are my last resort to help this dry hand. I noticed they were super dry after washing dishes every night and my knuckles have started to crack. Ahhh! I ordered these to wear while washing dishes and I can tell my hands are not getting overly dry at night. The best part is that they look pretty and I barely notice I am wearing them.
E-cloth window cleaning | If there’s one thing you need for your home from this post, it’s these e-cloths for cleaning your windows/mirrors. They are the best! I simply wet a small portion of the cloth and wipe the surface clean. It doesn’t streak at all!
Basket organizer drawer | This one has lived under my bathroom sink for quite some time. It keeps things pretty organized – all of my extra skincare products, cleaning products and face masks. It holds so much and it’s very functional.
Shower filter | We have put off getting a soft water tank here in FL since we have lived here. I noticed right away the difference in my hair having soft water in Louisiana. I ordered this filter for our shower head and have been able to tell a slight difference in my hair. Now if I can remember to change out the filter more often.
Insulted tumbler | I have 2 of these that I switch between daily. I first ordered these last year when I was pregnant and needed to drink more water. There is something about drinking from a straw that will make you drink more water. These hold a ton of water and will keep your water cold for hours.
Corkcicle coffee mug | I mentioned at the end of last year that I was trying out this coffee mug. After trying the yeti a few times, I just didn’t love it. I felt that it changed the taste of my coffee. I was so pleasantly surprised this mug did not! I can’t drink my coffee in a regular mug now because it gets cold so fast. This keeps it hot!
Silk pillowcase | A silk pillowcase is a must have! It really protects your hair and will keep it soft and shiny. There are a ton out there that can get pretty expensive but this one is under $30! I have washed and dried it so many times!
Rug grips | Gotta have them! These keep my rugs in place!
Corner shower shelf | I avoided adding shelves in our shower for 4 years. I didn’t want to deal with the suction cups not sticking and hearing a shelf fall in the middle of the night. These are fantastic! I haven’t had a problem with them since I installed them months ago. They are easy to put up and will hold!
3 piece luggage | If you have plans to travel soon, I highly suggest this luggage set! I’ve used it a few times over the last few years (not recently though). They are lightweight, roll very easily and are great sizes! Don’t spend a ton on luggage when they just get all banged up when traveling.
I am also wanted to share things that are in my cart currently. A password keeper book, little green bissell cleaner, a bib for sweet pea, a pretty planter for a spring refresh. I also have the pajamas I can’t stop raving about and top I’ve been wearing in different colors in my cart! Thank goodness for Amazon, right!?
Have a wonderful weekend!
