Trying something a little different today! I am sharing a yummy and easy recipe that I love to bring out for the holidays! You could actually do this year round but it’s a showstopper for a holiday party. I have been making this recipe for years! It’s usually my go to when I am required to bring an appetizer to a party. I am no chef, so I love really easy and delicious recipes. I also have no skills in food photography so this is about as good as it gets. About 5 years ago, I came across the recipe and saw that it uses parchment paper. I didn’t want to fuss with it because I had no clue how to use it. I thought there had to be an easier way! And that’s where the famous crescent roll came in. I have no special name for it just that brie cheese baked in a crescent roll.
Here are the ingredients I use: 1 triangle of brie cheese, 1 can of crescent rolls and whichever flavor of preserves you prefer. I use a pizza pan that I have had for years from Pampered Chef but you could use a regular sheet pan. Just make sure to spray it really well so it doesn’t stick.
Next, I unroll the crescent roll to lay flat on the pan. I always make sure to squeeze the edges together to make sure nothing leaks through. I then lay the brie cheese and then top it with my favorite preserve. I used Strawberry here and it came out yummy!
Then I wrap it all up and stick it in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until its nice and golden!
Place it on a nice tray, put some crackers around it and eat! This literally took me about 35 minutes including the baking time.
What are some of your favorite holiday recipes?
