Hello, hello! How has your week been? Mine, truthfully has been a little crazy, the last month actually has. There’s so much I want to share here, give a little life update and I will when I know more of what’s going on. Not to leave you hanging because how annoying that is, but it has to do with headaches that I have been having for the last month. I think we are finally getting somewhere and I have another appointment Friday. I will share everything soon!
There’s a new reel on IG today! I’m sharing 5 work outfits that will transition easily into the coming months. When thinking about outfits for this post, I really tried to imagine myself wearing these to an office. I had an office job for about 8 years before we moved to Florida and I would absolutely wear every single one below to an office. And even though fall is right around the corner, it’s still hot for a while. These outfits/dresses will be the ones you want to have on rotation very soon! It’s adding in dresses with sleeves, a cute LBD, switching out your summer handbag for a fallish one and adding in a comfy pair of loafers. There’s a casual Friday outfit too! Here are all the details.
This top is fantastic wearing it like this, with denim or layering it when the cooler months come. I shared it recently in Sunday finds and love the little puff sleeves with the surprising smocking around the wrist. These pants have been a favorite for years! I removed the tie belt and added this new belt that came in this week. It will be so easy to pair with dress pants, denim and around dresses.
You can’t go wrong with a dress like the one below in the office. It’s sophisticated with the crewneck and quarter length sleeves. It hits right above the knee so no need to worry about it being too short for the workplace. I am wearing the size small and it comes in more color options.
I adore this shirt dress and think it’s so great for those more casual days at the office or if you are a teacher. It buttons all the way down, has a dropped waist with the tie belt. Pair with a comfy loafer to switch out your sandals for fall and you are good to go! I am wearing the size XS dress.
A LBD is a must have for workwear. To me, this is a year round dress that you can wear during the summer with sandals, dress up for work with heels and a belt, layer a sweater over it with boots or pair with a blazer and pointy toe heels. The options are endless with this one!
Lastly, for casual Friday, keep it cute and simple with a classic sweater, straight leg denim and loafer. This sweater is incredibly soft and sophisticated with the buttons. I love that it’s not long sleeve so it is easy to wear while it’s still warm. You can also pair with a pleated midi skirt and heels during the week which would be so cute! I did size up in the sweater to a medium for extra length.
I hope this was helpful! I know I don’t share a ton of workwear but think I am going to start incorporating it more. Let me know what you think!
