Happy Friday! How was your week?! It was another one that flew by over here. It’s been a while since I’ve shared 5 things on a Friday so I rounded up a few things I’ve been loving, using and are excited about. There’s also a summer update and recapping an Amazon unboxing I did in stories last week. It’s all below!
TRAVEL ITEMS | We traveled up to Pinehurst and Rockingham, NC 2 weeks ago to celebrate the little guy turning 8. I thought I would share some of my favorite packing things that I always take along. These make packing for all of us super easy and keeps things organized for the most part. With the packing cubes, it makes sharing a suitcase more manageable and I always bring along an extra one for dirty clothes. I have had the suitcase set for the last 3 years and they have held up great! I have even used the smaller one as a carryon numerous times. The big one fits so much, sometimes I have to watch how much I pack when flying.

TENNIS | I have mentioned in the last week that I recently started taking tennis lessons. It’s so much harder than I thought! I was telling my husband (because he is in the golf industry) that when you look at anyone playing golf or tennis, they make it look so easy. But once you try it yourself, it is more technical! I’m going to keep at it to see if I can improve. Since my closet was lacking in tennis clothes, I decided to order a few things! I went with a navy and white theme so I can mix and match wearing them like I did below or both colors together.

NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE PICKS | The Nordstrom Anniversary sale will be in full swing soon depending upon your status. I’m not a huge Nordstrom shopper during the year but during the anniversary sale, there are a few things I like to treat myself to. I decided to browse this year’s sale and share what I have on my radar. There are quite a few things! Including this Farm Rio dress and this long sleeve shift dress.
AMAZON UNBOXING | Last week I ordered a bunch of things from Amazon that had been sitting in my cart. I decided to do a little unboxing in stories to share what I ordered. If you missed it I’m linking them all below. I saved the stories to a highlight here if you want to watch!
SUMMER UPDATE | I’ve been trying to figure out why this summer feels especially busy. Truthfully, I don’t like using that word because summer shouldn’t be filled with to do’s but that’s how it’s been the last month. July feels like it’s more hectic than the last. Maybe it’s because the little guy is home, which I truly love spending this time with him. His personality is fun, loving and he makes me laugh all the time. Lydia Grace is starting school 2 days a week next month and while I think I will cry not having her at home, she is so very excited even at 2 years old. I’m looking forward to having more time to show up here, for my friends, for myself and for my little family. I think I will feel like I can finally catch a breath. If you don’t have magnatiles for your kiddos yet, both kids have played nonstop with them last few weeks. Lydia Grace has even taken to building things with them. We have these! But I did see these are on major sale and they don’t collapse.
