Cheers to Friday!! Woohoo! The sweet girl and I have already had a busy Friday! We met friends for breakfast this morning, took a trip to Target while she snoozed in the stroller and then met daddy for lunch! Dare I say life is starting to feel somewhat back to normal? That being after having a baby. It seems we are finding our groove on the go and she is so adaptable, which makes going places that much easier with her.
Moving on to 5 things on this beautiful Friday! This list is just a few things I’ve been loving and/or trying out that’s too good not to share! I hope you enjoy today’s roundup!
I ordered this dress for Lydia Grace to wear on her 1st birthday! How are we even talking about that?! It was easily the fastest year yet. I am planning her birthday party with family & friends and really looking forward to the day. If your little one has a birthday coming up, I found even more cute options for boys and girls.
The picture below made me realize I am no expert at food photography! But I wanted to share what we had for dinner the other night. I had this weird craving for a hot chicken sandwich. I typically keep sandwiches off of our dinner menus and put more healthy choices on our plates but why not change it up?! We all enjoyed these! I have been following the chicken recipe from “The Comfortable Kitchen” cookbook and it comes out so yummy every single time. She puts it over arugula salad and I thought it would be delicious as a sandwich and it was. Here’s the simple and almost too easy recipe:
Cut chicken breasts in half and use a meat mallet to flatten the chicken. In a bowl, combine 1 egg and 2 teaspoons dijon mustard. Mix until well combined. In another bowl, add about 1 cup of panko bread crumbs. Dip chicken in egg and dijon mixture then cover with breadcrumbs. Cook in a skillet with olive oil on medium high for about 5-6 minutes on each side. I like to get the outside brown and crispy. Add cheese on top and cover with lid to melt the cheese. (I added our sandwiches to a panini press to get them extra hot) Serve with salad and/or fruit and vegetables on the side. Dinner is served!
Don’t you just love a white dress in summer? I rounded up all the prettiest ones I could find recently! I have also shared this one and this one in recent Amazon try ons. If you are a bride or taking maternity pictures, there are quite a few that will work below. 2 funny stories – we didn’t find out what we were having for both the little guy and LG so I wore a white dress for my maternity pictures! I also looked back at our family pictures we have taken the last few years and I have worn white every year! It’s my go to. I like to keep it simple for sure. A white dress really becomes a classic staple in your closet.

Our sweet girl had a helmet fitting earlier this week and then my husband and I ran to Costco afterwards. This is what I wore! I truly adore these white shorts and will wear them all summer multiple different ways. I also really love this top too and think it’s the cutest combo! Outfit: floral top | white shorts | slip on sandals | gold bracelets
Lastly, I shared these tanning drops in Sunday finds recently and have been using it almost daily when needed. I can definitely tell a difference in how tan my legs look! Just be careful with the foot area as that can leave streaks. It’s so easy to add a few drops to your lotion and apply! This bottle will last a long time!
Have a fantastic weekend! See you here next week for Easter options for the whole family!
